Amy B. Morello

MA, CCC-SLP

Amy earned her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland. She also earned her Bachelor's from Drew University. After completing clinical placements at Georgetown University Hospital and HSC Pediatric Center (formerly the Hospital for Sick Children) in Washington, D.C., Amy has worked with patients of all ages at skilled nursing facilities, for home health companies, and in private practice. She holds certifications in Beckman Oral Motor, the SOS Approach to Feeding, McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP), and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) for Parkinson Disease, and has training in Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Orofacial Myology. While her clinical interests are predominantly in swallowing disorders (dysphagia), feeding, medically fragile children, and medical facets of speech pathology, she enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults to improve all speech and language disorders. Since 2016, she has spoken a ton of Spanish, having lived and traveled in both Spain and Guatemala with her family, and has baked cakes semi-professionally.
